The dominance of teenage girls in the sport was further underscored by Cui’s triumphant performance. Post-victory, she proudly strolled through the Qiantang Roller Sports Center, draped in the national flag. While expressing her intent to review her, Cui remarked while speaking to the media:
This is just the beginning.
Cui Chenxi added,
We must continue to work hard and strive to the Paris Olympics and get good results.

Who is Cui Chenxi?
Cui Chenxi is a Chinese skateboarder. She has been in the news because she recently became the youngest Chinese national to win the gold medal in Asian Games history.
She was born on 19 December 2009 in Shandong Province, People’s Republic of China. Her height is 1.52 meters, or 4 feet, 12 inches.
She is currently 13 years old.
Her career
Cui Chenxi began his exposure to skating at the young age of three, originally using rollerblades. However, her transition to skateboarding occurred more recently, just three years ago, prompted by the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic that restricted outdoor activities.
Surprisingly, this once-amateur skateboarder quickly rose to the top of the podium at professional-level provincial competitions within a year of starting out. Her rapid ascent peaked when she won the gold medal in the most recent Asian Games, which were hosted in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China.
After this victory, she is poised to continue on a worldwide scale as she prepares to participate in the next Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.
