The slow-burning historical romance Sita Ramam, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, has become a big hit, know its release date on OTT in Hindi
In addition to the original Telugu version, shows in the Hindi belt were dubbed in other languages. It also drew a sizable crowd to the theatres.
This project marks writer and director Hanu Raghavapadi and Dulquer Salmaan’s follow-up to their successful 2018 partnership film Mahanati.

Sita Ramam Movie Hindi OTT Release Date, Platform And Rights
The movie’s release dates for the Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam versions and the Hindi dub were both August 5 and September 2.
The Characters Of Sita Ramam
Salmaan plays Lieutenant Ram in the love story drama, which is set in the year 1964. Mrunal Thakur plays Sita Mahalakshmi, the male lead. Actress Rashmika Mandanna also played the crucial character of journalist.
Notably, the film also includes Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Bhumika Chawla in prominent roles.
The OTT Release
Both the public and the critics gave Sita Ramam high marks for her performances. After its first release, OTT provider Amazon Prime purchased the movie rights to the production. And on September 9 it began streaming online on the service.
However, audiences must wait for Prime to make the Hindi version of the movie available for streaming; only the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions are now available.
Although neither the producers nor the streaming service have officially confirmed the release date of the Hindi-dubbed segment, reports indicate that it may be shown by the streamer on October 2 in honour of Dusshera.
However, Amazon Prime has not yet issued a formal remark regarding the reports.
The Story
Hanu Raghavapudi co-wrote and directed the 2022 Telugu-language period love drama Sita Ramam, which was also co-produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. Rashmika Mandanna, Sumanth, Mrunal Thakur, who is making her Telugu debut, and Dulquer Salmaan are among the cast members of the film. Set in 1964, Lieutenant Ram, an orphan Indian army officer posted at the border with Kashmir, receives secret love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi. Ram is on his way to find Sita so he can tell her he loves her.
Principal photography took place between April 2021 and April 2022. With locations including Hyderabad, Kashmir, and sections of Russia. For the film, Vishal Chandrasekhar composed the music. It was shot by P. S. Vinod and Shreyaas Krishna, and edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
