2023 Singapore Open day 3 schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & second-round draw
Akira Koga & Taichi Saito of Japan presented the Indian men’s doubles team of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty with a tough battle in the round-of-32. In a closely fought match, the Indian team came up short despite their best efforts and lost by the score of 18-21. 21-14, 18-21. Meanwhile, Indian women’s doubles pair Treesa Jolly & Gayatri Gopichand clashed against Yeung Nga Ting & Yeung Pui Lam from Hong Kong in the first-round. Ultimately, the pair from Hong Kong won this tie and qualified for the second-round.
According to the official schedule, it is confirmed that all the second-round matches will be played on Wednesday and Indian youngster Priyanshu Rajawat will face-off against third-seed Kodai Naraoka. Meanwhile, Indian star Kidambi Srikanth will play Lee Chia-hao in the second-round of the 2023 Singapore Open with a quarterfinal spot at stake.

2023 Singapore Open: prize money distribution
Each singles champion at the Singapore Open will receive $59,500 from the $850,000 total prize money as it is a BWF Super 750 competition. While each singles runner-up is supposedly given $28,900, the losers of the singles category semifinals will only receive $11,900. After their shocking loss against unseeded duo Koga & Saito, fifth-seeded Indian pair Satwik & Chirag will take home $850 in prize money.
