2023 Singapore Open day 4 schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & quarterfinal draw
At the Singapore Sports Hub on Thursday, Loh Kean Yew shocked his home audience by losing in the second-round. Christo Popov defeated the 2021 world champion Loh by score of 21-10, 23-21 to qualify for the quarterfinal. After defeating Malaysian Ng Tze Yong in the second-round with scores of 21-18, 22-24, & 21-13, Thai shuttler Kunlavut Vitidsarn will be the opponent for Popov. While Antonsen defeated Tien Chen Chou of Chinese Taipei 21-12, 21-15, third-seed Naraoka defeated Priyanshu Rajawat of India 21-17, 21-16.
Meanwhile, seven of the eight seeded players in the women’s singles event have qualified for the quarterfinal. After winning 21-12, 21-19, top-seed Akane has qualified for the quarterfinal, where she will face-off against compatriot Ohori Aya. Meanwhile, second-seed An Se-young has qualified for the quarterfinal by winning 21-12, 21-11 against Yeo Jia Min and is scheduled to clash against eighth-seed Wang Zhiyi.

2023 Singapore Open: prize money distribution
Since the Singapore Open is a BWF Super 750 event, each singles champion will get $59,500 from the $850,000 total prize pool. It is estimated that the singles category runner-up will earn $28,900 compared to the $11,900 prize money of each semi-final loser. Following his valiant loss in the second-round of Singapore Open, Indian youngster Priyanshu Rajawat will return home with rewards worth $2,550.
