Sidhartha is a self-taught international rifle shooter who hails from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. Sidhartha Babu is presently living in Bengaluru. He has been qualified for rifle shooting at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Sidhartha Babu was born in a small village of Kerela to Sauryanarayan and Sandhya. He has a sibling named Jayendra.

Babu grasped the basics of shooting by reading books that he borrowed from the local library. In a sport, we require a higher level of concentration, precision, and calmness, Sidhartha is the perfect example of all these.
He earlier was a martial art enthusiast who started practicing karate at the age of 19 years. After few years Babu met with an accident that made him paralyzed for life. A few years later, Siddhartha Babu decided to try his luck in the rifle club at Idukki in the Kerala state.
Presently he is the national champion and national record holder in the Para shooting. In the year 2019, he competed in Para Shooting World Championship conducted in Sydney, Australia. He bagged gold in the 50 meters men’s air shooting held in the year 2016.
Sidhartha Babu has also bagged a team bronze medal by representing India in the Para shooting World Cup of the year 2017 which was held in Thailand.

Sidhartha Babu has won a medal in Para World Cup in 2021. Also, he has achieved a Bronze for India in the Para Shooting World Cup of 2017. He holds the national record from the year 2014 and broke it himself only in the year 2017 and 2018 again, in 50 meters category of Para Prone Rifle.
At the South Indian 50m Air Rifle Shooting, he became the Champion after competing against able-bodied athletes. He has won a hat trick of Gold medals in State Level at the 50 meters Air Rifle shooting held in Kerala State in the years 2016, 2017, and 2018.
