Vivek Agnihotri took to Twitter to hit out at critic Anupama Chopra as he accused her of trying to tank his impending movie, The Kashmir Files
Over the last year, The Kashmir Files by Vivek Agnihotri has been one of the most awaited movies in the country. At a time when Bollywood is regressing, making cheap and shoddy copies of Western and South Indian movies, The Kashmir Files dwells upon the set of events which unraveled in Kashmir back in the 1990s.
Vivek Agnihotri Lambasts Anupama Chopra On Twitter
The imminent film which has finally gotten a release date and is set to come out in March will dwell into the plight of Hindus and Kashmiri Pandits at the hands of Muslims staying in Kashmir. In one of the most horrendous and violent exodus in India till date, the entire Kashmiri Pandit community was wiped out by Muslims staying in the region with deranged Islamists losing their marbles as they murdered, raped, burnt and plundered the families and houses of Hindus who were forced to abandon their birthplace.

And with liberals and leftists seething over the reality which will be portrayed in The Kashmir Files after persistent attempts to whitewash the crimes of Islamists, Vivek Agnihotri has been facing a string of hiccups ahead of the release of the movie. He went onto quit Twitter citing threats to him and his family but has made a return on the platform to lash out at Anupama Chopra.
He not only went onto accuse the film critic of trying to sabotage his movie but also took a swipe at her husband, Vidhu Vinod Chopra of not throwing his weight behind the mayhem unfurled against Kashmiri Pandits. Chopra who himself had released a movie called Shikara on the incident was berated at the time as well for guising the atrocities carried out against Hindus and not showing the real militancy, Jihad, separatism and genocide of Kashmiri Hindus.
