The green kits won’t be worn anymore by the players from the 2022 Serie A season with the league deciding to place a ban on them
The Serie A made an official as well as equally important announcement recently. All football fans from the 2022-2023 season are going to miss something badly, yes you guessed it right they are Green Kits. The tradition of green kits is going on for quite a long time now so that’s why the officials have decided to ban them. This change might seem weird at first but definitely, it will make the game more interesting later on.
Green Kits Face A Ban From Serie A Commencing 2022
According to certain reports, the ban has taken place because of many television officials who claimed that the green color is similar to the ground color. The blending of the kits worn by the players with the ground definitely creates a poor background for the television companies. If the background and the kit colors are kept different then this will help the players on the ground grab the utmost limelight.
In the 2020-2021 season most of the teams had green color in the kits. Atlanta team had shirts that had Christmas trees and Lazio had a kit that was entirely green in color. The ban is extensively going to affect Sassuolo as green has been their first choice for the kits for Serie A.
Apart from the kit color change, the socks, jerseys, and shorts are supposed to have one dominant color in common. This has not happened for the first time that Serie A kit rules have kit headlines; in the past as well this has happened numerous times. This time the change is definitely going to revolutionize television clarity.
