Sebastian Vettel attempted to track down his robbed backpack by riding a scooter across Barcelona on Monday

Sebastian Vettel of Aston Martin had a backpack taken from his car in Barcelona after the Spanish Grand Prix, and he wasn’t having it. To retrieve his stuff, the four-time F1 champion rapidly morphed into a detective.

According to a team statement, Vettel used his iPhone to identify the AirPods in the backpack. He went out to search for them & get them.

Sebastian Vettel’s suitcase was stolen via a vehicle window outside his hotel after the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday. According to an Aston Martin spokesman who contacted Motorsport.com on Monday, the four-time F1 world champion attempted to locate his suitcase using a GPS signal from the Air Pods headphones that were in the bag. He used the ‘Find my iPhone app’ to track his luggage while he drove around the city on his scooter, hoping to find it.

Sebastian Vettel’s suitcase was taken this morning in Barcelona. He attempted to locate it by using his iPhone to track his headphones, which were in his bag. But when he discovered them, they had been abandoned, and he was, therefore, unable to locate his stolen bag.

While the German was successful in locating the trail, he only discovered his headphones there. The burglars may have ditched the headphones to avoid being apprehended, as they managed to keep the more costly things on them. Vettel is thought to have reported the incident to local police, who have opened an inquiry.
