Following the Memorial Day weekend, the Scripps National Spelling Bee will return to Ion TV for a three-day tournament from May 30 to June 1, know where to watch live and the date in 2023

Harini Logan of San Antonio, Texas, and Vikram Raju of Aurora, Colorado, engaged in a spell-off the previous year. The two were given 90 seconds to correctly spell as many words as they could. Harini, who was 14 at the time, won by spelling 22 words correctly as opposed to Raju’s 15 and took home the award.

Spelling Bee live streaming and broadcasting details: Where to watch?

The Scripps National Spelling Bee semifinals and finals will be covered live on Ion TV on May 31 and June 1 for the second consecutive year. From 8 to 10 p.m. ET, they will both air during prime time.

A Scripps press statement states that with 7.5 million viewers last year, Bee programming had its highest television audience since 2015. The Spelling Bee has been a recurring event on ESPN for 27 years prior to its transfer to Ion.

About the live streaming, ION Plus, spellingbee.com, Fubo (free trial) can be used to stream the event live. On Wednesday and Thursday, viewers may watch the Scripps National Spelling Bee semifinals and finals live on ION Plus, spellingbee.com, or Fubo, which gives a free trial to new users.

Only ION Plus or Bounce XL will broadcast the preliminary rounds and quarterfinals, and the semifinals and championship game will also be shown on these streaming platforms.

The semifinals and finals will also be shown on Defy TV, Grit, ION Mystery, and Laff, four other national entertainment networks owned by Scripps.

The finals will be rebroadcast on June 2 from 9 to 11 p.m. and on June 3 from 8 to 10 p.m.
