Players from all over the world compete in Saint Louis Super Swiss, an invited norm event, for cash prizes and the possibility to earn Grandmaster, International Master, Woman Grandmaster, & Woman International Master norms. As of the end of the sixth round, GM Nikolas Theodorou is in the lead with 4.5 points, but fellow GM Christopher Woojin Yoo has pulled even with the same number of points (4.5/6). It is known that the competition will occur from March 12 through March 16 at the Il Monastero Banquet Hall in Saint Louis.
Fans may expect some exciting matches in following rounds, which will pit some of the top-ranked players against one another, due to the unpredictable nature of the Swiss System draw.
