BJP MP from East Delhi, Gautam Gambhir tore into CM Arvind Kejriwal over the worsening pollution level and air quality index in Delhi
Over the years, Gautam Gambhir has emerged as someone who doesn’t shy away from putting things in perspective and saying what he has on his mind.
His fortitude saw him enter politics with him going onto emerge victorious in the first time of asking itself. The ex-Indian cricketer was elected as a Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from East Delhi in 2019 after getting a ticker from the ruling BJP.
Ever since, Gambhir has gone onto assiduously devote himself to tackling the manifold problems in the capital. He’s taken the predicament of ever worsening pollution in the city head on, not only setting up three colossal air purifiers but also providing unstinted support to reduce the Ghazipur landfill, Asia’s best garbage dump.

And with 2021 seeing Delhi once again turn into a gas chamber owing to unabated crop burning by farmers and an ability to control the pollution from industries, factories, dust and construction, Gambhir once again lambasted Kejriwal.
Not only did the MP go onto hit lash out at Kejriwal for the horrendous pollution level in Delhi but also quizzed him about the horrific toxic foam in the Yamuna river. Kejriwal has gone onto spend Rs.990 crore on advertisements claiming he’s tackling pollution with there being no effect on ground.
“What work did the Kejriwal government do on pollution in the last 6 years? Stop talking about pollution, talk about Yamuna. Rs.2,000 crore was given to him for Yamuna, where did he go. It is easy to call yourself the son of Delhi, it is difficult to be”: BJP MP Gautam Gambhir on Delhi pollution
