Next week, Riyadh Season will host Saudi Arabia’s inaugural professional snooker event. This event introduces an innovative addition, the Golden ball, providing elite players with the opportunity to achieve a unique 167 maximum score and win a substantial cash prize. Notably, the Riyadh Season World Masters of Snooker, airing globally on Eurosport and DAZN, will take place from March 4th to 6th in Boulevard City, Riyadh.
It will showcase the top ten players worldwide: Luca Brecel, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Allen, Mark Selby, Shaun Murphy, Mark Williams, Ali Carter, John Higgins, and Ding Junhui. Alongside them, wild cards Omar Alajlani and Ali Alobaidli will vie for the trophy. This event will introduce a unique 23rd ball, known as the Riyadh Season ball, crafted from gold and valued at 20 points. Players can only pocket it after achieving a maximum break of 147.
