Within fifteen minutes of action, Ritu Phogat earned a nod from the judges and sent herself back on an upward trajectory in the loaded women’s atomweight division. She took to Twitter to thank everyone for their wishes and support, saying how it has all been possible because of the people of India.
Being one among the ‘Phogat Sisters,’ Ritu was also supposed to represent India at this year’s Tokyo Olympics before she made it clear that she was shifting her focus to mixed martial arts, debuting with ONE FC in February, 2019. Her MMA record currently reads 5 wins and 1 loss.

Ritu Phogat Wrestling Career, MMA Record and Net Worth
In October 2016, Phogat won her second successive title at the National Wrestling Championships and gold at the Singapore Commonwealth Wrestling Championship (48 kg category). Next month, she went on to become the most expensive female wrestler at the Pro Wrestling League as she took home a ₹36 lakh INR contract with the Jaipur Ninjas franchise. And then in 2017, she brought home India’s first silver in the World U-23 Wrestling Championships.
In her atomweight bout against Lin Heqin, she was back in the ring for the first time since May this year. Moreover, by knocking Lin out, Phogat also ended her streak which was registered at eleven consecutive wins. The Indian Tigress has a net worth of around 20.66 million dollars (Rs 151.02 crore approximately).
