GRAND THEFT AUTO’S LEGENDARY VOICE:

Surprisingly, Ray Liotta provided the voice of Tommy Vercetti. In 2012, he was the protagonist of Rockstar’s open-world game Grand Theft Auto Vice City.

The persona Tommy Vercetti was a volatile mobster with a criminal mind. He was the first main character in the series to have complete dialogue in the popular video game.

Ray won the Spike Video Game Award for Best Performance as a result of the game’s popularity. The actor has been dubbed one of the finest GTA characters in gaming history.

Ray, as Dexerto previously stated, was a well-known actor who not only played Tommy Vercetti but also Billy Handsome in Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

RAY LIOTTA WAS UNAWARE OF GTA, BUT “IT WAS FUN TO DO”:

When asked what he felt about the game’s and his character’s effect, he stated, I had no clue. I’m not much of a gamer. I was never a Pacman fan when it originally came out, and I was never interested in that kind of stuff.

The actor, who was surprised by the game’s popularity, added, It was enjoyable. You’re simply sitting around cursing people. It was a lot of fun.

Ray also expressed amazement at how “popular” the game grew. He even likened it to a “$400 million film.”

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was the best-selling video game of 2002, according to Sports Keeda. Over 17.5 million copies were sold.
