The hip-hop scene is once again in grief with the passing of Migos rapper Takeoff, who was shot dead on Tuesday, November 1, during a private party in Houston. Rapper Rahem Brown, also known by his stage moniker Tame One, passed away suddenly in mysterious conditions.

Tame One was a well-known American rapper. He has been in the news because he passed away recently.

His real name was Rahem Brown. People also called him Tamer Dizzle. He was born on March 20, 1970, in Newark, New Jersey, U.S.

He kept every information regarding his personal life private. The only thing that was known about him was that he was Redman’s cousin. Reginald Noble, commonly known as Redman, is a well-known actor, record producer, rapper, and DR.

He died on November 5, 2022. At the time of his death, he was 52 years old.

His Career

Tame One was a fan of graffiti writing and art. In the early 1990s, he was initially a member of the rap group Artifacts.

In 1994, he and El Da Sensei made their debut, “Between a Rock and a Hard Place,” which honored graffiti. Then, in 1997, they issued the album “That’s Them.” He didn’t put out any albums or singles for a while after their split in the late 1990s.

He collaborated with the Boom Skwad group and separately released 12 tracks. In late 2001, he joined Eastern Conference Records and began working with the High & Mighty, ex-signees of Rawkus Records.

Tame One finally rose to prominence in the New York rap scene. Additionally, he has worked with the Definitive Jux camp and musicians from the Eastern Conference.

In 2002, Cage and El-P founded the supergroup The Weatherman, which he joined. Then he published When Rappers Attack, an EC, and his debut album. “O.G. Bobby Johnson” and “Slow Suicide Stimulus,” his following two albums, were released in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

In July 2009, Tame One made the “Anxiety Attacks” music video public. Dro Pesci, a rapper from Staten Island, and Nick Jackelson, a producer, were later introduced to him. Together, they worked on the still-unreleased album “The Revolution.”

His subsequent release on Slangcorp.com was the EP “Hell or High Water.” Along with El Da Sensei and DJKaos 1200, he later collaborated on a reunion Artifacts record while also promoting his Boom Skwad Recordings solo mix CD, “Skwadzilla.”

The 52-year-old, real name Rahem Brown, passed away after suffering from heart failure with his net worth at $1 million.

Darlene Brown Harris wrote: “I can‘t express this any other way. My son, Rahem Brown, Tamer Dizzle, is dead.

“The medical examiner says the six pharmaceutical drugs that Trinitas hospital prescribed to him last Friday, combined with the weed he smoked over this weekend…his heart simply gave out.”
