The series circles around the story of a simple village girl, played by actress Naina Chhabra. Naina’s character enters into an arranged marriage with a man who appears modern but is emotionally unavailable and in love with another woman. On their wedding night, he coldly tells her straight up that he will never love or respect her because his heart belongs to someone else. Feeling crushed and betrayed, she undoubtedly finds herself caught in a loveless marriage until a new person named Raju enters her life unexpectedly. The series then follows a tale of desire, betrayal, and forbidden attraction.
