The picture claimed that the musician was in the hospital and in serious condition. Later, Quando Rondo took to his Instagram and revealed that the picture swirling around the internet is fake.
Who’s Quando Rondo?
Quando Rondo aka Tyquian Terrel Bowman is an American rapper from Savannah Georgia. He is signed to YoungBoy NBA’s Never Broke Again LLC and Atlantic Records.
The 23-year-old artist got his breakthrough with his 2018 song I Remember, which features Lil Baby. After the release of this track, he dropped 3 mixtapes such as Life B4 Fame (2018), Life After Fame (2018), and From the Neighborhood to the Stage (2019).
One of his other 2018 songs which garnered him fame was Motivation. It was featured on the YouTube channel of WorldStarHipHop.
Quando is quite an active social media user and he enjoys a fanbase of around 3.7 million followers on Instagram.
The rumors about the rapper’s well-being had his fans worried. The viral picture which gave rise to these fake rumours had the words, “Pray for me, in da hospital fightin for my life” written on it with 2 heartbreak emojis and a praying emoji.
The image which is now cleared as “fake” by Quando, seems like it was a story from this IG account, which is why fans were more worried and they easily believed it.
Rondo took to his Instagram on Wednesday, July 27th, to share a picture of himself on a plane. He thus debunked these fake rumours.
He wrote in his post, “That’s s**t fake as hell, I don’t even type like that”.

Quando Rondo’s stage name is a Spin on NBA player Rajon Rondo’s name. Rajon played for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
