The top teams from all around the world will compete for the coveted trophy at the $3 million PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022, which is being hosted by Tencent and powered by Gamers8, date, time, invited teams, prize pool
The event, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will involve competitions over the course of six days (split into two sets of three days), including the Main Event as well as the Afterparty Showdown.
Fans will be able to enter the arena to see their preferred athletes or teams compete in the international event for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
August 11–13 will mark the first week, dubbed the Main Event, while August 18–20 will mark the second week, dubbed the Afterparty Showdown.

Direct invitations to the Main Event, which has a $2 million prize pool, have been extended to the top eighteen teams from many areas. There are 18 matches in this three-day phase. The Afterparty Showdown will be attended by the top five teams from of the overall rankings.

Five teams in all have been chosen through regional voting in addition to the top five Main Event teams. Additionally, the winners of the $1 million competition’s second phase, 7SEA Esports, one and other special team, will be invited.

Rico Infinity (R8 Esports) from Saudi Arabia will be the special team called to the Afterparty Showdown, according to a recent announcement from Tencent. The team recently won the top spot in the regional PMGC rankings (PMPL AR Spring + Fall) to earn a spot in the Global Championship 2022.
To determine which Indian team will advance to this stage, Krafton held a four-day competition. 7SEA Esports won the competition and secured a slot in the PMWI Afterparty.
