But since we won’t know what is coming up next for a few days, it won’t be long until we learn what new PS4 & PS5 downloads will be made accessible in August.
PS Plus August 2022 Essential Free Games List PS4 And PS5 Release Date, Time
On July 27, 2022, at 4:30 PM BST, the PS Plus August 2022 free games for the Essential Tier will be announced. Gamers in America should learn the same information at 11 a.m. ET unless Sony decides to deviate from its customary schedule. Sony will continue to make announcements about further titles being added to services, and these won’t be for Essential customers.
With the integration of PlayStation Now, the new PS Plus Premium Tier receives monthly updates that add new games to its collection. However, these announcements won’t be made till the middle of August, even though new games are on the way and some will be leaving the service.

While there haven’t been any signs about the Essential Tier’s August free game from PS Plus, there have been a few suggestions about what might be in store for Premium subscribers.
A recent article on the European PlayStation site included a list of three Sony classic games for Extra & Premium. This purportedly featured information indicating that a future library update might include Dino Crisis from the PS1, SoulCalibur Broken Destiny from the PSP, and Ridge Racer 2 from the PSP.
The most expensive PlayStation Plus subscription tier includes everything that the service currently offers, including the free monthly games, special offers, Plus Collection, Share Play, and online multiplayer from Essential. It also includes free express shipping directly from PlayStation, this same Game Catalog, Ubisoft+ Classics, the Classics Catalog, game trials, and cloud streaming.
