On Friday, the semi-final phase of the 2023 Prime Volleyball League will kick-off in Kochi featuring group winners Kolkata Thunderbolts against Bengaluru Torpedoes. Later on Saturday, Ahmedabad Defenders will face-off versus Calicut Heroes in the other semi-final tie.

At the Regional Sports Complex in Kochi on Friday, the first semi-final match of the 2023 RuPay Premier Volleyball League will be played between the reigning champions Kolkata Thunderbolts and Bengaluru Torpedoes. In the inaugural game of this season, Kolkata defeated Bengaluru 3-2 and will be confident of winning this semi-final tie but, Bengaluru are in superb form and hence, experts believe this to be an intriguing contest.
Around 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, viewers in Kochi will be able to see the semifinal match between Calicut Heroes and Ahmedabad Defenders. Ahmedabad Defenders, who finished second in the group stage, are considered the favorites in this match, although Calicut Heroes have proven themselves capable opponents in the past against elite teams.
