Farmers Insurance Open 2022 Golf Winner: Big Comeback from Luke List

List was five strokes behind leaders Zalatoris and Jason Day heading into the fourth round. List closed the final round with a superb 6-under 66 and waited till the end to see if he can earn a chance to win. Zalatoris missed a birdie in his last shot which forced the tie into playoff. In the playoff, Zalatoris missed his chance and List scored a birdie to secure his win at the farmers insurance open.

Top Seed Jon Rahm, Day and Cameron Triangle ended the tournament with 14 under, one shot behind the champion. Meanwhile, Justin Rose finished at T6 tied with five players by scoring 13 under.

Zalatoris will be lamenting the fact that he missed his chance to win career’s first victory after coming so close. However, last season’s Rookie of the year Zalatoris stated that he will bounce back stronger.
