Mumbai Meteors achieved their first-ever victory in the 2023 RuPay Prime Volleyball League by totally dominating Chennai Blitz. Mumbai won the first-set of the game 15-14 after a close contest and continued to hold the reign of the momentum. Thanks to the stellar performance of Anu James & Brandon Greenway, Mumbai managed a clean-sweep against their rivals to bag maximum three points. Ultimately, Mumbai Meteors emerged victorious by score of 15-14, 15-6, 15-11, 15-12, & 15-9.
In an effort to maintain their hot start to the season, Calicut Heroes will face Hyderabad Black Hawks when their season resumes on Saturday. Hyderabad Blackhawks will attempt to recover from their early defeat in the opening game. It is official that the game will take place at the Koramangala Stadium on Saturday at 7:00 PM IST.
