After months of wait, the 2023 Prime Volleyball League kicked-off at Bangalore with an intense clash that saw the defending champions Kolkata Thunderbolts secure a hard-fought victory against Bengaluru Torpedoes.

From 4th February till 5th March, there will be 31 matches in the second season of the Prime Volleyball League as eight franchises from eight different Indian cities prepare to compete for the top honor. Calicut Heroes, Kochi Blue Spikers, Ahmedabad Defenders, Hyderabad Black Hawks, Chennai Blitz, Bengaluru Torpedoes, Kolkata Thunderbolts, & Mumbai Meteors will clash against each other with the title at stake.
At the Bengaluru’s Koramangala Indoor Stadium on Saturday, the defending champion Kolkata Thunderbolts emerged victorious against Bengaluru Torpedoes in the inaugural match pf Prime Volleyball League 2023. Kolkata won the match by score of 15-11, 15-11, 15-14, 10-15, 14-15 after a hard-fought contest thanks to their well-polished teamwork. On Sunday, the tournament will resume with Mumbai Meteors clashing against Calicut Heroes to kick-off their campaign.
