The tournament will begin with an exciting opening clash between the Rajasthan Patriots and Maharashtra Ironmen at 7 PM IST.
PHL 2023 season 1 format
The upcoming PHL 2023 will feature six teams first battling out in a round-robin format consisting of 30 matches. Following the end of the first round, the top four ranked teams will progress to the knockout round. The knockout round will begin with the semifinals on June 24 and the final on June 25.
The tournament will feature a total of 33 matches, spread over 18 days, with each team playing a minimum of 10 matches. Each of the teams will have a squad of 17 players, consisting of 14 Indian players and three foreigners.
