The PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024 Prelims is already underway since the start of the new month. The ongoing high-profile eSports competition is the first international event of the 2024 PUBG Mobile competitive season.
24 teams will compete over three days in the PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024 Prelims. In addition to teams that finished second through ninth in the PMGO 2024 Qualifiers Finals, these participating teams comprise 16 teams from the 2024 PUBG Mobile partnership programme.

These 24 teams have been split into three groups of eight teams each. There will be a round-robin format for the PMGO 2024 Prelims. Each group will compete in 12 matches at this stage, for a total of 18 matches.

Groups A and B competed in six matches on the first day of the preliminary round. After Day 1, the Mongolian team Team Falcons took the lead, followed by Smoke Gaming and Zebra Master in second and third place, respectively.

Eight teams were selected from the Qualifier Finals, leaving 16 partnered teams that were directly invited by the organisers from around the globe.

PMGO 2024 Prelims prize money: How much will the winners grab?
The total prize pool for the PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024 is USD 500,000. The overall prize pool for the PMGO 2024 Prelims is USD 80,000, while the USD 356,000 prize fund for the main event will be offered.
