Tokyo Olympic quiz was the main attraction of the recent Mann ki Baat, Mann ki Baat is a program where PM addresses the entire nation. Apart from Tokyo Olympics, vaccine hesitancy was a major topic covered in this program.
Legendary Indian athlete Milkha Singh was also remembered by PM as he is the source of inspiration to almost all Indian athletes out there.
Tokyo Olympics Quiz Fit India
PM urged the Indian people to support the athletes and get a chance to win the Tokyo Olympics quiz. The people participating in this quiz are supposed to use #Cheer4India on their social media posts. The Tokyo Olympics quiz is going to be exclusively available on the Namo app and on MyGov. Namo app is an application developed for the Indian population only by the ruling government in India.
Also, the PM shared the inspiring and motivational stories of a number of athletes. He mentioned their struggles and stated how they managed to run on the road to success with their hard work. Many athletes who are going to represent India this time in the Olympics have struggled a lot to reach this milestone.
Apart from this, PM shared the conversation that he had with Milkha Singh before his dismissal. Milkha Singh’s death has been a great loss for India, especially to all those young aspiring athletes in India. Everyone wishes to become like him, he was one of the finest athletes that India has ever had.
PM had a wish of making Milkha Singh talk to the Olympic contingent this year. Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out to be in his favor. Tokyo Olympics was an event scheduled for the event 2020 in Tokyo, Japan. Coronavirus spread in the entire world made the Olympics authorities postpone this event. Finally, Tokyo Olympics are happening in 2021 but the name will still remain “Tokyo Olympics 2020”.
