When will Yakuza: Like A Dragon & New Games in Yakuza Series become Available?
The intentions for the expanded subscription service were made official by Sony as part of the Essential announcement for PlayStation Plus. As part of the Playstation Plus Game Catalog, it was disclosed that the entire Yakuza game library would be made playable starting in 2022. Starting with the release of Yakuza: Like A Dragon, subscribers of Premium and Extra will get complete access to these games.
On Tuesday, August 2, all PS Plus members will have the opportunity to participate in the Essential Tier Free Games giveaway. Next month, more Yakuza games will be introduced as part of the growth of the Game Catalog. Next month, the Premium and Extra libraries will receive the addition of Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2. Later this year, Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 5 Remastered, and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will also be made available.
None of these games have been given a release date as of yet, but in 2022, a second monthly refresh will happen for those who have paid for the more expensive Premium Tier, as Sony previously indicated. In the middle of the month, the Game Catalog will be refreshed. The number of games that are updated each month will vary, and as was already said, there is no specific time for this to occur. More games may be revealed for the refresh in the upcoming weeks to go along with the Yakuza collection, which has already been confirmed.
Yakuza Series Gameplay Details & Upcoming Game Line-up
In 2022, PlayStation Plus will begin offering the acclaimed Yakuza series, which includes the Kazuma Kiryu saga and most recent instalment Yakuza: Like A Dragon. Beginning next month, fans of Sega’s venerable series will be able to enjoy its distinctive blend of crunchy action, explorable districts, mini-games, and intriguing storylines.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be a part of the August PlayStation Plus Monthly Games programme. When the games are released as part of the August Game Catalog lineup, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium users may start Kazuma Kiryu’s epic journey through the criminal underground with Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2.
