Pierre Gasly signs a new multi-year deal with the Alpine F1 team, know his contract details, salary and net worth
Piere Gasly has signed a new multi-year contract with the BWT Alpine F1 team and will compete in F1 2023. Gasly had a contract with Red Bull until 2023, where he had competed for the previous nine years.

The 26-year-old will now take over for former Formula One champion Fernando Alonso, who will join Aston Martin in 2023.

After Alpine and Red Bull reached an agreement to release Gasly from his contract early, the procedure was made possible. Alpine paid the 26-year-old $10 million for his services. Nyck de Vries has taken Gasly’s former position at Red Bull. Gasly’s current net worth stands at $3 million.
The 26-year-old Gasly has one victory on his record from the Italian Grand Prix in 2020 and scored 185 points in each of the 2020 and 2021 seasons before slipping slightly this year due to AlphaTauri’s struggles. The French driver, who is four positions ahead of teammate Yuki Tsunoda in the season point standings, will partner up with Esteban Ocon in a considerably more competitive Alpine car.

After the announcement on Friday, Gasly released a statement in which he expressed his joy at the new chance and thanked Red Bull for their support over the course of their nine-year partnership.
“I am happy to join the Alpine family and begin this new chapter in my Formula One career,” he said in a statement. Being a French-born driver for a squad is quite rare. I’ve battled against Alpine in races for several years, so I’m familiar with their abilities, and it’s clear that their progress and objectives are excellent.”
Alpine team principal Otmar Szafnauer described Gasly as an “experienced talent” who feels he is the appropriate individual to assist lead the brand into a new era.
“I’m thrilled that Pierre will be joining us for 2023 and beyond,” he stated. “He is already a proven talent in Formula One, and we are excited to exploit that within the team.”
