Caroll led the Seahawks to their first and only Super Bowl victory in 2014, defeating the Denver Broncos, almost four years after being hired by Seattle. The following season, Seattle returned to the Super Bowl but was defeated 28–24 by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
Spouse, children and personal life
In 1976, Carroll tied the knot with Glena Goranson. Glenn played volleyball at the University of Pacific, where the two first connected. They have three kids together: Brennan, Jaime, and Nate.
Brennan, who is currently serving as the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Wildcats football team, goes by BC. He was a tight end at the University of Pittsburgh before his time was spent on the sidelines. Jaime was an athlete in the past and is today a real estate professional. She participated in volleyball for the Women of Troy. After graduating from USC, their youngest son Nathan joined the Seahawks coaching staff in 2010 and worked as his father’s assistant.
