PDC World Cup of Darts 2022 Tournament Rules and Format
The top eight teams will compete in the first round, followed by the remaining 24 teams in the second round. As in previous years, the competition will be played in a knockout system. There were rumours that a new format might be adopted in 2022, similar to the Premier League Darts, but that has been put on hold for at least another year.
A best-of-nine-legs pairs match will be played in the first round. Meanwhile, two best-of-seven singles matches will be played in the second round, quarter-finals, and semi-finals. If the scores are tied, a best-of-seven legged doubles match will determine the winner.
Tickets for the event can be found here.

2022 PDC Darts World Cup Results, Score, Winner, Schedule, Draw, Teams, and Players
Wright and Henderson of Scotland put up a professional performance to defeat debutants Lok Yin Lee and Ho Tung Ching on a night when all four seeded nations advanced. Hong Kong’s Lee impressed on his big stage debut, but the 2015 quarterfinalists were unable to maintain their promising start, as Scotland reeled off the final four legs without reply thanks to a pair of 14-dart legs.
At the Eissporthalle, Michael Smith and James Wade wowed the crowd, averaging nearly 99 to beat the capable Czech duo of Adam Gawlas and Karel Sedlacek. Smith and Wade will face Latvia in the final 16 after Madars Razma and Nauris Gleglu defeated Hungary with an amazing 91 average.
