CardBaazi Indian Rummy League 2022 Winner, Results And Prize Money Purse

CardBaazi just completed the maiden round of the Indian Rummy League (IRL), which included a prize money fund of Rs 1 crore, know who was the winner in 2022

Ran Singh, a 39-year-old native of Mahendra Gadh, Haryana, won the final table and was crowned champion of the first event, which occurred in Goa on June 15th.

From a total prize pool of Rs 1 crore, he won Rs 20 lakhs, followed by Pankaj Raghunath Khaire, a 31-year-old from Surat, who placed second, then Rajesekhar Palantla, a 40-year-old from Bengaluru, who won Rs 10 lakhs and Rs 5 lakhs, respectively.

IRL was founded with the goal of attracting players from all across India. With a specific focus on tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and to unlock the traditional sport’s latent potential. The event, which began on March 26th and drew over 26,000 participants, saw over 6 lakh hands played in total.

IRL received submissions from cities such as Bundi, Bidar, Sikar, Nashik, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Raipur, Bhilwara, Panjim, Dehradun, Rajkot, & Aurangabad, among others. Throughout the league, major victories were achieved by athletes from several categories. Over 150 players earned something beyond Rs 10,000 in the season with ZERO entrance fees advancing through satellite events. And over 100 players have won more often than Rs 1 Lac.

Following the success of IRL, CardBaazi is expanding its horizons even further with the launch of numerous additional games on the iPhone this week, including T23 and Pool 51, among many others.

Over 150 individuals earned more than INR 10,000 with ZERO entry fees qualifying through satellite games. While over 100 players have won more than INR 1 Lac, indicating tough competition across game forms.

With the maiden edition of the showpiece tournament tasting consummate success, the league is bound to return next year as well to see even greater participation. Meanwhile, the remainder of 2022 is set to be lined up with scores of several such competitions owing to the dearth of professional rummy based events in the country at the moment despite it being played on a widespread basis.
