Paul Pogba Injury Update, News, Status And Report

Paul Pogba has sustained a thigh injury at the France International team’s training facility on Monday. Bad news for Le Bleus as they will surely miss the absence of one of France’s key players ahead of the World Cup qualifiers scheduled to begin shortly. Manchester United have been informed of Pogba’s abrasion, right before the Red Devils were due to take the midfielder’s assessments.

A video is doing the rounds which show the details of how Pogba suffered the injury in training. He can be seen practicing his shooting skills with France head coach Didier Deschamps, eventually limping off the field after a lousy shoot. Manchester United have issued a statement which said, ‘’Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has withdrawn from the France squad due to an injury sustained during training on Monday.”

“The 28-year old had joined up with his international teammates as Les Bleus prepare for important World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Finland.” The statement further informed that Pogba has suffered the injury in his right thigh.

Paul Pogba Return Date

Tests conducted by the French FA and reported to United have revealed that Pogba could miss football action for a period between six to eight weeks. The midfielder will return to Old Trafford for further scans in order to provide United’s medical staff a comprehensible picture of the injury.

The French Football Federation has also announced that Pogba will miss both of France’s World Cup qualifiers in the month of November. Also, he could be ruled out for two months which would keep him sidelined till early January next year, making him miss a total of 12 matches.
