Pakistan vs New Zealand ODI Will Have No DRS With IPL Buying Out The Providers

PCB was unable to secure the services of an authorized vendor for the technology and thus would not use the DRS during the upcoming Pakistan vs New Zealand ODI series

According to ICC guidelines, member Boards can only use DRS technology from providers licensed by the International Cricket Council. The DRS system would be present for the T20 Internationals against England in Lahore in October.

There will be three One-Day Internationals and five Twenty-20 Internationals between Pakistan and New Zealand. The ODIs will be held in Rawalpindi on September 17, 19, and 21, T20Is will be played in Lahore on October 25, 25, 29, and 1 and 3.

What is the reason behind there being no DRS in the Pakistan vs New Zealand series

The rights were sold very late, which is why there is a difficulty. As a result, the series will not be shown on television using DRS technology. According to a source, there is so much international cricket being played throughout the world as the IPL followed by the T20 World cup, that equipment technology provision would have to be planned well ahead of time.
