The countdown to the Overwatch 2 reveal event’s release date & start time is nearly over, and Blizzard has revealed some of the OW2 features that will be discussed
For OW2 fans, it’s been a busy month of news. We’ve discovered that a console beta will be available on June 28th and that the full PvP part of the sequel will be available as a free-to-play early access title on October 4th.
While all the above is thrilling, today’s webcast will be jam-packed.
Overwatch 2 Reveal Event Date, Start Time, Livestream, Details
On June 16th, the Overwatch 2 reveal event will begin at 10:00 a.m. PT, 13:00 a.m. ET, and 18:00 a.m. BST, according to the release time and date countdown. Blizzard’s official blog article provided all of these hours. On Twitch and YouTube, you’ll be able to view the OW2 stream live.
One of the most compelling reasons to watch the webcast is to learn more about the upcoming beta on June 28th. Unfortunately, this blog post states that it will be a closed demo, which means that the number of people that may participate will be limited.
Overwatch 2’s PvP mode is now available for free, and Blizzard’s announcement event will cover the game’s live service model including seasonal content.
In addition, our stream will reveal more information about Junker Queen, the series’ newest hero. Her powers have already been known, but Blizzard is expected to disclose them soon.
In addition to all the aforementioned and the upcoming console beta. Blizzard promises that there will be more to talk about. We’d like to see more of the campaign in development, but we’re not holding our breath.
We’ll learn a lot more about Overwatch 2 today, thanks to a Reveal Event for the sequel.
