French forward Ousmane Dembele will be absent for another 3-4 weeks as he has picked up another hamstring injury. This indeed is bad news for the Catalan giants as they are already struggling with many of their players ruled out of the squad because of injuries.

Ousmane Dembele Injury Update, News, Report And Return Date

FC Barcelona came out with an update about the Frenchman’s injury saying that he has a strain in the semimembranosus muscle of his left hamstring.

However, the good news is that Dembele can take his time to recover during the approaching international break, which is why he will not be missing many matches. Barca are to play against Celta Vigo on Saturday for which the 24-year old will be ruled out. He might also not travel to the Espanyol stadium on 20th November after the international break is over.

Dembele was brought on as a substitute in Barcelona’s Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev this week. The Catalans emerged victorious with the help of Ansu Fati who scored the only goal of the match.

Since Dembele was brought on as a substitute in Barca’s latest CL fixture, it is assumed that the Frenchman picked up the injury during the club’s training session on Thursday. After making a return from a knee surgery which forced him out for a major part of last season and the current season, Dembele will miss all the football action for the rest of November. He had played for 25 minutes against Dynamo Kiev and his latest setback is surely a cause of worry for the Blaugrana side.

Here’s taking a look at Dembele’s injury history up till now.
