The Orleans Masters resurfaces under the Super 300 sign for the upcoming 2024 edition following a closed edition in 2021 and a spectacular return in 2022. This tournament is a part of the Orleans Masters championships and is the eighth event on the 2024 BWF World Tour.
Athletes competing to earn points in the quest to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris make the 2024 edition crucial. Carolina Marin is the current winner in the women’s singles division, while Priyanshu Rajawat is the defending champion in the men’s singles division.
The previous edition’s winners of the men’s doubles were Chen Boyang and Liu Yi, while the women’s doubles winners were Rena Miyaura and Ayako Sakuramoto. The past edition’s mixed doubles champions were Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei.
The tournament’s Indian challenge will be led by young athletes Malvika Bansod and Kiran George. Meanwhile, India’s men’s singles team will be led by World No. 37 Kiran George, who advanced to the quarterfinals of the January Indonesia Masters.
