Following her resounding straight-set win against Neslihan Yigit, former Olympic winner Carolina Marin has sealed her berth in the quarterfinal. It is confirmed that she will face-off against Singaporean Yeo Jia Min for a place in the semi-final at stake. Meanwhile, sixth-seed Beiwen Zhang will clash against compatriot Iris Wang to determine who qualifies for the semi-final.

During Thursday’s second-round matches, Mithun Manjunath succumbed to defeat against Taiwanese shuttler Chi Yu-jen and crashed out from the tournament. Meanwhile, Rajawat stunned top-seed Nishimoto to qualify for the quarterfinal, where he is scheduled to play against fellow qualifier Chi Yu-jen. 2023 Orléans Masters: prize money distribution

Each winner in the singles category will get $18,000 from the $240,000 total prize pool because the Orléans Masters is a BWF Super 300 event. Moreover, the singles runner-up will receive $9,120 while the semi-final losers would only receive $3,480. Tanya Hemanth and Mithun Manjunath are among the second-round losers of this competition who will go home with prize money of $840.
