Soon, the statement went viral, with many people expressing their heartfelt condolences to her. Among them is Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who expressed his sorrow on Twitter. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement that he had known Hunt for close to 40 years and had always been “struck by her warmth and grace.”

Her real name is Norma Lynn Knobel. She was born on 28 March 1938 in Dallas, Texas. She did her schooling at Richardson High School.
Norma Hunt married businessman Lamar Hunt in 1964. Notably, Norma was his second wife. Lamar was previously married to Rosemary Carr, and they have two children, Lamar Junior, and Sharron Hunt. However, they divorced in 1962.
After divorcing her, Lamar met Norma, whom he married until his last breath. Lamar passed away on December 13, 2006, due to prostate cancer. Norma and Lamar became parents to two children named Clark and Daniel during their marriage.
