NHL Global Series
The NHL Global Series is a preseason event that takes place before the start of the new NHL season. It serves as a way for the league to promote itself to other countries. Over the years, the NHL has held various Global Series games across different European cities.
While the NHL has been playing games internationally since it started in the early 1900s, the present Global Series started just a few years back in 2017. The arena serves as the home of tennis’ Australian Open besides serving as a multi-purpose sports facility. It is used for tennis, basketball, swimming as well as some other sports.
