Cowboys Thanksgiving halftime show confirmed performer
This year’s confirmed halftime show performer for the Cowboys game at the 2023 NFL Thanksgiving is Dolly Parton. The legendary country music artist will perform at this year’s halftime show in the Cowboys vs Commanders game. According to reports, the Cowboys have been trying to bring in Parton as a performer for many years. The team reportedly initiated talks with her when she co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards, which took place at the Cowboys’ practice facility in Frisco, Texas. Ever since 1997, the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving halftime show has been part of The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign and this year’s event will also be the same.
Dolly Parton bio
Dolly Parton is a renowned veteran American country singer and an 11-time Grammy Award winner. Throughout her career, she has had 25 of her songs reach the No. 1 on the Billboard country music charts.
This ties her for the most amongst female artists. The veteran singer, who is originally from Tennessee, started of her professional music career 56 years ago in 1967. However, the upcoming performance is her first during a Cowboys game. Notably, Parton is a country music icon, but she is currently out on road promoting her rock album, “Rockstar”, which is her 49th album, but her first in the rock genre. The album features various covers of legendary songs.
Lions Thanksgiving halftime show confirmed performer
This year’s confirmed halftime show performer for the Lion on Thanksgiving day is American rapper Jack Harlow. Jack is all set to perform at the Ford Field during the Lions vs Packers game on Thanksgiving. Back on October 30, Harlow attended the Lions’ “Monday Night Football” game against the Raiders. It was on this day that the he agreed to perform as the Thanksgiving halftime performer. Notably, the Lions brought in Bebe Rexha as their Thanksgiving halftime performer last season while Big Sean did the honors in 2021.

Jack Harlow is a 25-year-old American rapper from Louisville, Kentucky. The singer gained prominence with his hit single “Whats Poppin” back in 2020 and has since become a mega star over the years. Notably, Jack Harlow was named as the Top New Artist back at the Billboard Music Awards in 2021. His latest album, titled “Jackman,” reached the No. 1 on Billboard’s rap charts in May earlier this year. Jack Harlow is a big sports fan and has attended many Louisville football games over the years.
Harlow was seen pumping up the crowd back when the Cardinals won over Notre Dame in October. The famous rapper is also a big NBA fan and even has a song named after renowned Miami Heat guard, Tyler Herro. For the upcoming game, Harlow will be hoping for a win in favor of the Lions over the Packers.
