Here are the top highest paid coaches in NFL in 2024 and the list of their salaries
Andy Reid, who is looking for a three-peat this season and has won three Super Bowls (two consecutive), has agreed to a contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs, making him the highest-paid coach in American sports.
The previous record was set by Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, who pledged to make Reid the highest paid coach, and was set by the Denver Broncos’ $90 million, five-year contract that they extended to Sean Payton to entice him back to the NFL sidelines last year.

The estimated value of Reid’s new contract, which will run for five years, is approximately $100 million. Expiring after the Super Bowl in February 2029, the contract is valid through the 2028 season.
Next is Sean Payton of the Denver Broncos who earns 18 million USD per year. The Los Angeles Chargers’ Jim Harbaugh is number 3rd in the list.
The Chargers signed him this year to a five-year contract that will pay him sixteen million dollars annually. Then comes Sean McVay of the Los Angeles Rams earning 15 million USD per year.
Mike Tomlin is the fifth in the list and the Pittsburgh Steelers coach has a salary of 12.5 million USD per year. Baltimore Ravens’ John Harbaugh has his annual salary of 12 million USD and is the sixth highest paid coach in NFL this year followed by San Francisco 49ers’ Kyle Shanahan who earns 10 million USD per year.
Eighth in the list is Jacksonville Jaguars’ Doug Pederson earning 8.5 million USD per year. 9th is occupied by Sean McDermott of the Buffalo Bills who has an annual salary of 8.5 million USD.
The 10th in the list is acquired by Nick Sirianni of the Philadelphia Eagles. Nick agreed to a five-year deal worth $6-7 million USD per year with the Eagles.
