Ji-soo, a teacher at Jooshin High School, covered up her illicit relationship with Woo-jin by being the one who killed In Han in a hit-and-run. You are made to feel that Jae-yi and Ri-an were involved in Han’s murder from the very beginning of the K-drama. A scholarship student in Han became friends with Jae-yi, but as a result of their friendship, they were severely bullied.

Ri-an let his pals to mistreat him because he was in love with Jae-yi and the king of Jooshin. One day, Jooshin covers up the facts of what led up to In Han’s death in a hit-and-run. In search of the truth, Kang Ha enrols at the institution on a scholarship.

Jooshin’s social order is upset by Kang Ha’s arrival as he looks for solutions. The K-drama’s fourth episode reveals that Kang Ha is In Han’s fraternal twin brother. Because they lived apart, neither the school nor the kids were aware of their relationship.

You are tricked by Hierarchy into thinking that Jae-yi killed In Han because he was aware of her true pregnant with Ri-an’s child. She admitted to killing someone to Kang Han, but it was so she could have an abortion.

Jae-i’s happy ending is wrapped up in her choosing herself as she finds her birth mother, who was sent away by her father years ago. We do get a happy ending as Kang-Ha gets his revenge, but the bullies will continue to remain bullies.

Hierarchy season 2 has not been confirmed, but episode 7’s post-credits scene means the K-drama will most likely continue. An official release date isn’t known though.

Hierarchy cast and crew

The 2024 South Korean teen romance television series Hierarchy stars Roh Jeong-eui, Lee Chae-min, Ji Hye-won, Ji Hye-won, and Lee Won-jung. It was written and directed by Chu Hye-mi.

Hierarchy plot

Hierarchy follows the tale of “a secretive transfer student” who “chips a crack in the indomitable world of Jooshin High School,” a school where the top 0.01 percent of South Korean students control law and order.

Leading the charge is the renowned Bae Hyun-jin, known for 2022 hits like Big Mouth and Alchemy of Souls season 2, making Hierarchy one of the most eagerly awaited K-dramas when it premieres in June 2024.

Hierarchy opens with a former “it” couple from high school society getting into separate luxury vehicles and racing around a track. In the world of Hierarchy, breaking up with an adolescent looks like this: instead of just texting, they challenge their childhood sweetheart to a high-stakes game of speeding cars.

The two wealthiest students of Jooshin Academy, a make-believe high school that teaches the 1% of Korea’s population as well as certain scholarship students, are Jae-i and Ri-an. Each year, the school’s administration selects a few deserving underprivileged children for admission, “inspired” by the Latin motto of the establishment, noblesse oblige.

One such child is Kang Ha (Lee Chae-min from Crash Course in Romance). Kang Ha is a new student in the first episode, and he doesn’t seem to be aware of the school’s overt hierarchy, despite several other students’ attempts to enlighten him with words or fists. However, it soon becomes evident from getting to know him that Kang Ha is not as innocent as he seems.
