It appears that HYBE is now set to debut its second girl group under its subsidiary label ADOR following Le Sserafim’s contentious debut and subsequent success on the HYBE label (All Doors One Room). As seen by the release of a pre-debut single at the same time that all five of its members were introduced to the public, HYBE is taking their new female group considerably more seriously in the wake of the events involving their previous six-member girl group Le Sserafim and former member Garam. Additionally, ADOR and HYBE made available the track lineup for NewJeans’ impending debut album. The new girl group under HYBE and ADOR will release their mini-album on August 1 and make their debut in front of the general public beginning with the title single, “Cookie.”
After Attention, New Jeans will be releasing their second MV on July 23 titled Hype Boy at 12 AM KST and on July 25, New Jeans will be dropping the third music video Hurt at 12 AM KST.
On August 1, the group will be releasing their fourth and final MV Cookie at 6 PM KST/ 5 AM ET and their debut Extended Play will be released digitally on August 1 along with Cookie MV.
The group will be appearing in music shows including M Countdown on August 4th, Music Bank on August 5th, and Inkigayo on August 6th.
