Renowned film actor Saruk Tamrakar was discovered deceased at his residence in Ratopul, Kathmandu, marking a sorrowful day for the Nepali entertainment industry. According to SP Sitaram Rijal of the Kathmandu Police Range, the upsetting incident occurred at around 11:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The 31-year-old actor was discovered hanging from a plastic pipe attached to the stair railing of his house. Authorities quickly launched an inquiry following the frightening incident after promptly reacting to the emergency call.
In accordance with the law, Saruk Tamrakar’s body was then sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, where a thorough post-mortem examination will be performed.

Saruk Tamrakar was a renowned Nepali actor, director, and producer. He has been in the news recently because he took his own life at the age of 31.
He was born on 19 September 1992 in Nepal, Kathmandu. His father’s name is Sanu Tamrakar, a renowned Nepali actor, and his mother’s name is Rukmani Tamrakar.
He passed away on 6 July 2023 in Ratapul, Kathmandu. At the time of his death, he was just 31 years old.
His career
Saruk Tamrakar had avidly pursued a career as an actor in films, following in his father’s footsteps.
He made his acting debut in the film “Rani” and also had important cameos in the films “Meri Mamu” and “Intu Mintu London.” He had lately been heavily involved in the filming of Hashtag Maya, which is currently around 45% finished.
In addition to this, he was a skilled director, photographer, and filmmaker.
Cause of death of Saruk Tamrakar
According to reports, he took his own life. Although the specific reason for Tamrakar’s unfortunate choice is yet unknown, spokesperson Rijal reaffirmed that a comprehensive investigation is ongoing to shed light on the events that caused this tragic and untimely incident.
