Alok, who occupies a job as a class-4 employee within the Panchayat Raj department, accuses Jyoti, Bareilly’s Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), of both corruption and adultery. Their relationship began in 2010, when Jyoti was still working toward her education and Alok held a menial job as a “sweeper.”
According to reports, Alok was crucial in helping Jyoti prepare for the renowned state civil service test administered by the Uttar Pradesh Civil Service Commission (UPPSC) by providing constant assistance and monetary support.
Jyoti Maurya earned an astounding 16th place on the PCS examination in 2015 and credited her father-in-law for her accomplishment, further strengthening family ties. She held a variety of positions throughout the years, demonstrating her abilities as a PCS officer at Jaunpur, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, and Lucknow.
The couple enjoyed the joys of parenting along the way with the birth of two children. However, the recent turn of events has shattered their once seemingly idyllic existence.
Alok has now made serious claims against Jyoti, charging that she conspired with Manish Dubey, the commandant of the home guard and allegedly her lover, to kill him.
