Who is Naveen Kumar?
For those unfamiliar, Naveen Kumar Goyat is an Indian professional kabaddi player representing the Indian national kabaddi team and Dabang Delhi KC in the Pro Kabaddi League.
Known for his speed and consistency in raiding, he is regarded as one of the top raiders in the league. Born on February 14, 2000, in Sultanpur, Haryana, Naveen is the first person born in the 21st century to play in the Pro Kabaddi League, and he holds the distinction of being the youngest to do so.
Additionally, he played a pivotal role in the Indian kabaddi team’s gold medal victory at the 2022 Asian Games, where they defeated Iran 33-29 in a controversial final.
