The game which will come out on September 10 will see Luka Doncic grace the cover of the standard edition. The game will also see a special edition be released, one which will celebrate the 75th anniversary of NBA and will see Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant on the cover.
The NBA 2K22 ratings dished out to Steph Curry and Kevin Durant failed to win over LeBron James
The pinnacle of basketball games, the NBA 2K franchise has over the years managed to become the go to game for basketball aficionados across the global stage. Eagerly yearned for every year, the game’s 2022 edition will be coming out later in 2021.
Ahead of the release of the game, 2K Sports dropped the ratings of the players to feature in the game on Thursday. While the entire list is yet to be revealed by the gaming company, the bagpipers of the game all saw their stats on the game being dropped.
Kevin Durant’s NBA 2K22 Ratings Leave LeBron James
However, a slew of people aren’t too happy with the ratings accorded to the worldclass names, especially the 96 handed out to Kevin Durant and Steph Curry. Both the names ended up with 96 ratings, ones Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James was far from impressed with.
Taking to Twitter, LeBron James commented on posts sharing the players’ ratings as he wrote, “Nah should be 99!”

While joining the 99 club in NBA 2K isn’t for everyone, LeBron does have a point when he makes a case for Durant being serenaded with the rating. KD’s performances in both the NBA playoffs and the Tokyo Olympics where he spearheaded Team USA to the gold medal were extremely notable in nature.
