All For One thwarted All Might’s onslaught in the previous chapter by rendering him paralyzed with Bloodcurdle. Despite the best efforts of those who wanted to aid All Might, All For One consistently foiled their plans. Bakugo suddenly materialized from the U.A. island, seemingly prepared to fight once more, just as AFO was about to murder All Might.

Spoilers for the next chapter of My Hero Academia reveal the working title to be “We love you! All Powerful!! Sir Nighteye’s prediction of All Might’s “cruel death” will serve as a flashback at the beginning of the chapter. As the globe reacted to the happenings on the battlefield, the manga cut to a scene of All For One carrying All Might in his arms.
A farmer had given up hope, certain that the world would soon see the death of the once-great hero. In the meantime, we see a large number of people rooting for All Might, including a dog-boy who says he does not want All Might to die.
Meryl, the American weathercaster who just shared a video about the butterfly effect online, made another appearance. Meryl felt a strange, seemingly forceful breeze as she sat at the computer.
Deku and Bakugo
Spoilers for the next episode of My Hero Academia return to the battleground, where Bakugo has just stared at Deku and is about to fly toward him. Like in the movie adaptation of My Hero Academia, “Heroes Rising,” Deku grabbed Bakugo by the hand and began spinning him around in the air.
The Second OFA user saw through Deku’s plot and cautioned him against using Gearshift again due to the energy drain it could cause. Despite this, Deku threw Bakugo toward AFO and All Might using the Quirk.
Tomura Shigaraki, however, began grinning since he knew Bakugo would not arrive in time to preserve All Might. In addition, he realized that any trace of All Might within OFA no longer existed. Thus, another remnant had begun to materialize, and it resembled humans more closely than the others.

Then, in chapter 404 of My Hero Academia, we see a flashback to when Sir Nighteye said that everyone’s “wishing energy” will affect the future in a positive way. Like the butterfly effect, where a butterfly flapping its wings in Brazil can cause a storm in Texas, it seems like everyone’s prayers resulted in the intense wind.
In this chapter, Bakugo remembers his role in All Might’s rise to fame as a hero and flies toward him in an act of penance. But he wouldn’t stand for that happening again.
To save All Might, Bakugo detonated AFO’s arms. Meanwhile, All Might’s remnant reverted to its original state. Bakugo announced that they were going to win the battle as All Might stared at him in amazement.
