In the second episode, she moves into Kudou’s house and starts living differently. But when she offers to make him breakfast nevertheless, he becomes angry because he doesn’t eat food from strangers. After the aid worker reassures him that she is not malicious, he begins to regret his behavior. He felt terrible about his outburst at Miyo and wished he hadn’t. Miyo apologizes for her actions when he arrives home, and he takes her words at face value.
Miyo prepares a gourmet meal for Kiyoka the following morning and sends it straight to his room. Because she is anxious about whether or not he will enjoy the meal, she can hardly relax. He devoured the entire serving and complimented her cooking skills. Her reaction to the unexpected praise was to become emotional, and tears began to fall. In addition, he realizes that Miyo does not behave as one would expect from a member of a prominent family and makes an effort to learn the truth.
