Monaco GP 2021 Practice Session

Charles Leclerc topped the timing charts in free practice session with his Ferrari. Furthermore, his teammate Carlos Sainz recorded the second-fastest time in the other Ferrari with 7-time World Champion, Lewis Hamilton completing the first 3 finishes with the Mercedes.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen only managed the fourth-fastest time. While Lewis Hamiltonโ€™s teamate, Valtteri Bottas was fifth fastest in the other Mercedes. Whereas McLaren’s Lando Norris recorded the sixth fastest time. AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly was also impressive as he finished the session seventh fastest.

Followed by Red Bull’s Sergio Perez had a disappointing second practice session as he only managed the eighth fastest time.

With the Qualifying set to begin from May 22, 2021, it remains to be seen which drivers go onto take the first 3 positions. Interestingly it has been witnessed in the 2021 season, that a starting position can really help a team clinch major poles on the race weekend. Are we going to witness another Monaco GP spectacle or are Ferrari going to clinch pole after long?
